The Jefferson County Tigers baseball squad (Monticello, FL), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Branford Buccaneers (Branford, FL)

With the triumph, Branford moves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host Chiefland (Chiefland, FL) to confront the Indians in a non-league contest on Friday, March 7. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 6-3. Chiefland won 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Taylor County (Perry, FL)

The Tigers now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league contest on Friday, March 7. Jefferson County will confront a Seahawks squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Blountstown (Blountstown, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 6-3.
