The Chelsea Hornets baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Briarwood Christian Lions to 0 in the Hornets non-league win on Thursday.
The Hornets now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Smiths Station for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Chelsea will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Pike Road (Pike Road, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
With the defeat, Briarwood Christian drops to 6-6 on the year. The Lions host Prattville (Prattville, AL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-7. Prattville lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Auburn (Auburn, AL)
