North Carolina High School Baseball - Piedmont Community Charter wallops Queen's Grant

The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 18-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Langtree Charter Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 10. Piedmont Community Charter will clash with a Lions team coming off a 10-4 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.

With the defeat, Queen's Grant drops to 0-3 on the year. The Stallions travel to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Forest Hills lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC)
