Alabama High School Baseball - Sipsey Valley edges Tuscaloosa Academy

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights.

The Bears (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Senators go into the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Sparkman nudged Florence (Florence, AL), 4-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Knights play the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 7. Tuscaloosa Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 8-4 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Elmore County (Eclectic, AL).
