The Brevard Blue Devils soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Chase Trojans to 0 in the Blue Devils league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host R-S Central for a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, March 11. Brevard will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Chase moves to 0-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to encounter the Golden Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, March 10. The Golden Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Shelby won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Crest (Shelby, NC)
