Fans at Thursday's league battle between the John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC) and the host First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC), saw John Paul II's soccer squad knock off First Baptist School by a count of 4-1.
The Golden Warrriors (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Chargers enter the SCISA AAA Region II battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Northwood Academy by Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 10-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 10. First Baptist School will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
