In Thursday's non-league match, the host Wilcox Chargers softball team scored a nice 21-6 win over the Cupertino Pioneers.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Spartans come into the match with a 0-2 record.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 14. Cupertino will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Sequoia (Redwood City, CA).
