With the victory, Downey advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Vikings host Compton (Compton, CA) to encounter the Tarbabes in a Moore battle on Thursday, March 13. The Tarbabes come into the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Knights now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corona for a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. Lynwood will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-0.
