The Chambers Cougars overwhelmed the host Olympic Trojans softball squad by a count of 22-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. Chambers will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record.

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves go into the So Meck 4A challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Ballantyne Ridge was routed by Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 14-2, in a league challenge.
