In Thursday's non-league match, the host Logansport Tigers softball team scored a nice 17-7 win over the Converse Wildcats.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Stanley (Logansport, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Stanley notched a victory over Hicks (Leesville, LA), 6-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the West Sabine Tigers (Pineland, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 7. Converse will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 9-5 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Alto (Alto, TX).
