The Phil Campbell Bobcats softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Haleyville Lions to 0 in the Bobcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Bobcats now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Phil Campbell will confront a Eagles team coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Haleyville moves to 2-8 on the season. The Lions host Russellville (Russellville, AL) to confront the Golden Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. The Golden Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-8. Russellville lost 8-7 in their recent non-league battle against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)
