The King Lions softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Middleton Tigers to 3 in the Lions league win on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alonso for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. King will confront a Ravens team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gaither (Tampa, FL). The Ravens record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Middleton moves to 0-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Brandon (Brandon, FL) to confront the Eagles in a battle on Saturday, March 8. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-6. Brandon lost 21-2 in their recent non-league battle against Plant City (Plant City, FL)
