The Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals overwhelmed the host University School of Nashville Tigers softball squad by a count of 22-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Royals meet the Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Cecilia Academy (Nashville, TN). The Scarabs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Cecilia Academy was routed by Christian Community (White House, TN), 15-10, in a non-league challenge.
