The Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) baseball edged the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA), 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
Next up, the Hornets encounter the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a AA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 10. Cook will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 3-8 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA).
