The Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC) baseball the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), 5-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Pride now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Athens Drive for a CAP 8A challenge on Tuesday, March 10. Leesville Road will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Topsail drops to 4-2 on the year. The Pirates host Wake County HomeSchool (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 7. The Warriors enter the bout with a record of 3-1. Wake County HomeSchool won 12-6 in their recent non-league bout against Person (Roxboro, NC)
