Texas High School Softball - Pieper edges Boerne-Champion

In Friday's league match, the host Pieper Warriors softball team scored a tight 4-2 win over the Boerne-Champion Chargers.

The Warriors (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Mules come into the 5A Region IV District 26 match with a 8-12 record. In their last game, Alamo Heights by Boerne (Boerne, TX), 12-2, in a league game.

The Chargers now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to New Braunfels for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Monday, March 9. Boerne-Champion will play a Unicorns squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 8-10.
