The Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) softball routed the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), 9-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Krum for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 10. Boyd will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Pilot Point moves to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 10 test on Monday, March 9. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-13. Callisburg lost 18-0 in their recent league test against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX)
