Texas High School Softball - MacArthur drops to Spring

March 6, 2026: Houston, TX 77039

Spring Lions (Spring, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), 22-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Spring improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Lions host Dekaney (Houston, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 6A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, March 10. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 5-3. Dekaney won 20-19 in their recent league game against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)

The Generals now hold a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Westfield for a 6A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, March 10. MacArthur will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 24-4 league loss to Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
