Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the host Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), saw Perquimans's baseball squad knock off Manteo by a count of 18-7.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 9. Perquimans will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC).
