In Monday's league battle, the host Jacksonville Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-4 victory over the New Bern Bears.
The Cardinals now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Swansboro for a Coastal/Northeastern Coastal battle on Wednesday, March 9. Jacksonville will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 9. New Bern will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 12-6 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).
