Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Montgomery Catholic Knights (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 15. Wetumpka will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
The Tigers now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Marbury for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 10. Chilton County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-0.
