The Berry Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Fayette County Tigers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Berry improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Pickens County (Reform, AL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a 1A Area 9 game on Thursday, March 10. The Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 1-4. Pickens County lost 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 11. Fayette County will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 1-9 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL).
