The St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) softball routed the host Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL), 29-16 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Fighting Saints (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Munford (Munford, AL). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Munford was routed by Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL), 12-0, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Ramsay for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 8. Clay-Chalkville will confront a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Florence (Florence, AL). The Rams record now stands at 7-2.
