In Monday's league contest, the Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Farmersville moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Farmers travel to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX) to play the Lions in a 4A Region II District 13 contest on Monday, March 7. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 12-3. Kaufman won 17-1 in their recent non-league contest against Hillcrest (Dallas, TX)
In their next game, the Braves play the Ford Panthers (Quinlan, TX) in a 4A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Community will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Wills Point (Wills Point, TX).
