The Golden Bears now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host John F. Kennedy for a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Wednesday, March 9. Edison will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Lanier falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Voks travel to Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Wednesday, March 9. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-7.
