North Carolina High School Softball - Harnett Central bounces Hunt

The Harnett Central Trojans routed the visiting Hunt Warriors softball squad by a count of 17-8 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the All American 3A/4A battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Western Harnett was routed by Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 15-3, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rocky Mount for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 9. Hunt will meet a Gryphons squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 0-1.
