The Bishop McGuinness Villains crushed the host South Davidson Wildcats baseball team by a count of 12-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Villains now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dudley for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 8. Bishop McGuinness will face a Panthers team coming off a 26-1 league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
Next, the Wildcats face the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A bout, on Thursday, March 9. South Davidson will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 10-8 league win over Salisbury (Salisbury, NC).
