In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting J.H. Rose Rampants baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Corinth Holders Pirates.
The Rampants (4-0) will now prepare for their game against South Central (Winterville, NC). The Falcons go into the Big East 3A/4A game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, South Central tipped Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Heritage tipped East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 11-9, in a non-league game.
