In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Vardaman Rams baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Okolona Chieftains.
The Rams (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Columbus got by Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 10-5, in a non-league contest.
The Chieftains now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Vardaman for a 1A Region 6 contest on Friday, March 10. Okolona will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Rams record now stands at 9-1.
