The Coronado Islanders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Christian Patriots to 1 in the Islanders non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Islanders now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Jolla for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 8. Coronado will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 3-10 record. In their last game, Foothills Christian dropped by Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
