In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Service Cougars basketball team scored a tight 42-37 triumph over the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 9. Service will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 11-9 record after their 48-34 league loss to Bartlett (Anchorage, AK).
With the defeat, Bettye Davis East Anchorage moves to 3-17 on the year.
