The Sun Valley Spartans walloped the visiting Independence Patriots lacrosse team by a final score of 12-4 in Tuesday's non-league match.
With the win, Sun Valley betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, March 9. The Knights go into the match with a record of 3-2. Lake Norman Charter won 9-6 in their recent non-league match against Butler (Matthews, NC)
With the defeat, Independence drops to 0-2 on the season. The Patriots host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Panthers in a Southwestern/So Meck match on Wednesday, March 8. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 2-1. Providence won 11-9 in their recent non-league match against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
