Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Buccaneers face the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 8. Bartlett Yancey will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Bethany (Summerfield, NC).
The Rams now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morehead for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9. Northeast Guilford will face a Panthers team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
