Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers face the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 10. Smithson Valley will attempt to better on its 20-0 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX).

The Cougars now have a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seguin for a 5A Region 4 District 26 challenge on Friday, March 10.
