The Bridgeport Bulls held off the visiting Decatur Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's league match.
The Bulls now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Castleberry for a 4A Region 1 District 8 match on Friday, March 10. Bridgeport will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast (Hurst, TX). The Lions record now stands at 18-2.
The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines go into the 4A Region 1 District 8 battle with a 5-17 record. In their last battle, Springtown nipped Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.
