In Tuesday's league battle, the host Hargrave Falcons soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the New Waverly Bulldogs.
The Falcons (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Buccaneers come into the 4A Region 3 District 18 battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, East Chambers nudged Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Anahuac (Anahuac, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region 3 District 18 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Anahuac was overwhelmed by Livingston (Livingston, TX), 6-0, in a league battle.
