Texas High School Softball - Elysian Fields bounces Arp

Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Arp Tigers (Arp, TX), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tatum for a 3A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 14.

With the loss, Arp falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Waskom (Waskom, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 16 challenge on Friday, March 10. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Waskom lost 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pine Tree (Longview, TX)
