Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bartlett Bulldogs (Bartlett, TX), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Milano for a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Saturday, March 11. Rosebud-Lott will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Bartlett falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Milano (Milano, TX) to face the Eagles in a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, March 10. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. Milano won 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Thrall (Thrall, TX)
