Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX), 10-8 in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Horizon for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Thursday, March 9. Ysleta will face a Scorpions squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Bel Air falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Parkland (El Paso, TX) to face the Matadors in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Thursday, March 9. The Matadors enter the challenge with a record of 10-8. Parkland lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Del Valle (El Paso, TX)
