Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) and the host Bland Tigers (Merit, TX), witnessed Cooper's softball squad tip Bland by a count of 10-4.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cumby for a 1A Region II District 16 match on Friday, March 10. Cooper will face a Trojans squad coming off a 14-4 league win over North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Bland moves to 1-8 on the season. The Tigers host Celeste (Celeste, TX) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 1A Region II District 16 test on Friday, March 10. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 2-4. Celeste won 5-3 in their recent league test against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX)
