Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canutillo for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, March 10. Chapin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 24-12 league win over Andress (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Burges falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host El Paso (El Paso, TX) to face the Tigers in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, March 10. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. El Paso won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (El Paso, TX)
