Arkansas High School Softball - Cross County knocked off by East Poinsett County

In Tuesday's league contest, the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) softball team overwhelmed the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), by a margin of 20-2.

With the triumph, East Poinsett County moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Warriors host Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR) to play the Greyhounds in a 2A-3 contest on Wednesday, March 8. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds play the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) in a 2A-3 contest, on Thursday, March 16. Cross County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
