The West Limestone Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Elkmont Red Devils to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, West Limestone improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to East Limestone (Athens, AL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 8. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-3. East Limestone lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Madison Academy (Madison, AL)

In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Elkmont will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
