Granger Lions (Granger, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Holland Hornets (Holland, TX), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bremond for a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, March 10. Granger will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Holland falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Thrall (Thrall, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, March 10. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Thrall lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Milano (Milano, TX)
