Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they host Boyd for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 14.

With the loss, Prosper falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Eagles host Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to battle the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Thursday, March 9. The Blue Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 6-9.
