Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 20-1 record. They take the field next when they host Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Thursday, March 9. Hanks will battle a Conquistadores squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Horizon falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to battle the Indians in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Thursday, March 9. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-8. Ysleta won 10-8 in their recent league challenge against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
