The Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) softball routed the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), 15-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rattlers (14-3) will now prepare for their bout against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 30 bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Nixon was routed by Roma (Roma, TX), 5-4, in a league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Roma for a 5A Region IV District 30 bout on Friday, March 10. Juarez-Lincoln will confront a Gladiators squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Gladiators record now stands at 8-8.
