The Pirates now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Falfurrias for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. Mathis will battle a Fightin' Jerseys squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys record now stands at 7-15.

With the loss, King falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Brahmas travel to Kaufer (Riviera, TX) to battle the Seahawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Seahawks enter the challenge with a record of 15-6. Kaufer lost 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX)
