The Prairiland Patriots softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 1 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Prairiland moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Patriots host Edgewood (Edgewood, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Friday, March 10. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 7-4. Edgewood lost 11-0 in their recent league game against Rains (Emory, TX)

In their next game, the Buffaloes clash with the Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 14. Lone Oak will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 17-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Paris (Paris, TX).
