The Vandegrift Vipers routed the visiting McNeil Mavericks softball squad by a final score of 10-4 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Vipers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Round Rock (Round Rock, TX). The Dragons go into the 6A Region IV District 25 battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Round Rock held off Manor (Manor, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Mavericks now possess a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Round Rock Westwood for a 6A Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, March 10. McNeil will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 2-10.
